iRSR Kit 2 - Catch-up Decodable Texts
Welcome to iDeaL Reading Skills Record (iRSR) Kit 2.
This is the second of 3 kits in the iRSR series. Kit 2 is designed to be used with catch-up decodable texts and is suitable for students aged 8 years or older. These students are working below their recommended curriculum level and require extra support with literacy. The corresponding decodable texts contain a variety of fonts, font sizes and word counts. The aim is to have your student read for at least 1 minute. Please ensure that you select a suitable text for your intended student.
It is recommended that you assess students using an iRSR from Kit 3 with an authentic text at a suitable curriculum level if you believe they will be able to read this.
