Learning MATTERS Intervention Teaching (LMIT) Certification Terms and Conditions
Upon registering for the Learning MATTERS Intervention Teaching (LMIT) Certification, you indicate that you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you cannot abide by the Terms and Conditions, you may be asked to leave the course without refund. Please ensure that you have read all details regarding the Learning MATTERS Intervention Teaching Certification course, what is offered by Learning MATTERS and included in the fee.
Learning MATTERS will confirm your enrolment upon approval of your application. Accepted participants will receive an email confirmation of enrolment and tax invoice for course payment.
The LMIT Certification investment is $3250 NZ (excluding GST), which includes all LMIT resources, access to the LMIT Online Platform (for the duration of the training), diagnostic assessments, lesson plan templates, support from LMIT facilitators including formal observations, feedback and professional marking.
This fee is non-refundable but is transferrable, i.e., Learning MATTERS reserves the right to decide if placement into another intake at a later date is applicable or the fee is transferred to another participant and that participant is approved by Learning MATTERS.
Payment for the LMIT Certification will be invoiced in two instalments (50% deposit is required to secure your space).
Any placement into the LMIT course is not confirmed until the fee is paid in full by the participant at least one month prior to commencement of the course.
The participant understands that it is their responsibility and expense to travel to the five-day face to face learning.
In the event of a national or international pandemic or weather event, and should travel be restricted or schools close, this service including the planned five-day face to face will continue remotely.
It is the participant’s responsibility to have suitable internet access for the online modules.
The participant is aware of their responsibility to complete the course requirements in line with the recommended course schedule and any submission dates given.
The participant understands that failure to meet deadlines and complete course requirements to the required level may result in overall course failure.
The participant is required to act with integrity and professionalism through all online communication with LMIT administration staff, LMIT facilitators, LMIT coaches and other LMIT course participants.
The participant is aware that on average, they will need to allocate approximately 2–2.5 hours a week to complete course work requirements.
